Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman
Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman: "The Talmud teaches us: 'Learn everything and then seek understanding' (Shabbat 63a). You must read the words even if you do not understand them completely. It is written, 'My soul broke through with desire' (Psalms 119:20). The Talmud says that the surface must be broken, but the depths need not be explored (Avodah Zarah 19a). One need only read the words, even if he does not understand.
When you study quickly, you will absorb a great quantity. You will be able to review each volume many times. What you do not understand at first will appear simple the second or third time"

Its as simple as it sounds, so check us out. We will be blogging our experiences as we go, and sharing our successes with out friends. We are only accepting content of high moral and ethical nature, as part of the goals of the websites we will be building."

The Fast Of Gedaliah (Tzom Gedaliah) | |National Jewish Outreach ProgramNational Jewish Outreach Program: " commemorate of the murder of Gedaliah the son of Achikam, which is described in the last chapter of the Second Book of Kings. This murder resulted in the final Babylonian exile and destruction:
After the first Holy Temple was destroyed and the Babylonians had driven the majority of the Jewish people into exile, a small minority of Jews were permitted to remain in the Land of Israel. Also, Jews who had fled during the war returned and began to work the land.
Nebuchadnetzar, the King of Babylon, appointed Gedaliah to be the governor over the remaining population.
The King of Ammon, a neighboring country, was vying for control over the Land of Israel against the Babylonians. He commissioned Yishmael the son of Netanyah to remove Gedaliah."
