Torah for the Nations, You can also be Jewish!

Torah for the Nations, You can also be Jewish!: "Through converts (geirim) and penitents (baalei teshuvah), the Oneness of God is revealed through the very multiplicity of creation. Since they, too, come forth in order to become incorporated into His absolute Oneness, this is most precious to God. Therefore, the Torah stresses that one should love and encourage the proselyte. Similarly, our Sages greatly praised the spiritual levels attained by penitents, who, after having distanced themselves, strive to return to God (Rabbi Noson Sternhartz, Likutei Halachos, Prika Ute'ina, 4:3)."

1947: Into the gloom of postwar New York — a community of survivors reeling from their losses, numb, uncertain, grieving — came a soul aflame. He melted their doubts with warmth and healed their wounds with love. He too had lost so much: a wife, children, community … yet he was single minded, focused on the people and their needs: jobs, shidduchim, housing.Posted: 01.AUG.08

Aleph to Tav

Aleph to Tav:

There may indeed be deeper and more literal based interpretations that are already out there on the Internet. My intention is to provide links to these works after my work is completed and has been successfully uploaded to the Internet.

The life we are all living is by default the only single reference point that we have. In order to develop a rudimentary understanding of parsha chukas we have to expand our point of reference...
